Specialized Inpatient PTSD Unit - Topeka

The Stress Disorder Treatment Program (SDTP) is a 7-week inpatient program for male and female Veterans and active duty service members who have experienced military-related trauma (e.g. combat trauma, military sexual trauma, other traumatic assaults) that has led to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, substance abuse, and other life difficulties.  The SDTP is a 22 bed intensive recovery-based program designed to help participants decrease symptoms, improve quality of life, enhance self-esteem, return to work or school, and reintegrate with their families and communities
