VA Eastern Kansas COVID-19 Entry Guidance

We want to provide reminders as you continue to work through your medical care options at VA Eastern Kansas. Virtual care options remain incredibly beneficial for all and current data shows, you Veterans are using that resource in record fashion. THANK YOU! To learn more about our VA's tele-health services, please visit:

We also remind all of our VA campus and medical center COVID-19 Entry Guidance Updates:

- In Leavenworth: All campus entry locations are open during normal appointment hours. When entering the buildings we ask those with appointments to enter the main entrance (North parking lot side) generally between the hours of 7 and 4pm. If needing access at other times or in an emergency, use the ER entrance.

- In Topeka: Veteran patients are to use the Gage Ave. entrance furthest south. You will be initially screened there and then park accordingly. When entering the buildings where you receive care, you will be screened further and then proceed accordingly to your appointment.

Please arrive on time but no sooner than 15 minutes prior. If you have a medical issue prohibiting you from wearing a mask, please reach out to your primary care team to discuss options.

Thank you for your service and thank you for partnering with us in providing the safest and most effective medical experience possible.
