2015 Flu Season

It's time to get prepared for flu season

The Colmery-O’Neil VA Medical Center, part of the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System, is offering Free Flu Shots for Veterans enrolled in VA health care.

At the Topeka VA Medical Center, all Primary Care Clinics, Behavioral Health Clinics, Women’s Health Centers, and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS) will offer flu vaccines now through March 31, 2016.  No appointment is needed – the vaccines are offered on a walk-in basis.  Bring your VA ID Card.

Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS) include: Emporia, Garnett, Chanute, Ft. Scott, Lawrence, Junction City, Wyandotte, St. Joseph, and new this year is Platte City.
Please bring your VA ID card and stop in during any open clinic times to receive this yearly vaccine. Please call your PACT team for information on their hours of operation.

When you receive your yearly flu shot at a non-VA location, please send a SECURE MESSAGE using My Health-E-Vet (www.myhealth.va.gov) or CALL 1-800-574-8387, ext. 53348, and leave a message which includes your name, last 4 digits of social security number, date vaccine was received, and facility it was received at, so we that we may keep your medical record up-to-date.
